Launch of the book "O que o coração une, o mar não separa"
We joyfully announce the launch of the first edition of the book "O que o coração une, o mar não separa" ("What the heart unites, the sea does not separate"), which gathers the experiences of the many volunteers who have generously collaborated in our mission over the past years.
Delivery of hygiene and food kits
This afternoon we delivered hygiene and food kits to our 90 families. A contribution from Portugal through the Social Solidarity Association Mercado dos Santos.
Health Training
Today was also a day of training on Diabetes and Arterial Hypertension.
Preparation of diapers
The dedicated midwife nurses this afternoon sorted the diapers by sizes that will be delivered to the mothers of Memo!
Village visits - Corluli
Today the morning was spent in consultations in Corluli, which had great participation, with more than a hundred patients of all ages. Our illustrious visitors and collaborators brought basic goods that they distributed after each consultation.
Consultations in Sekar Village
Today in the Village of Sekar we saw over a hundred patients and our friends Marisa Barroca, Conceição Ribeiro and the two girls Mariana and Sara distributed hygiene kits and toys to the children! It was a great joy!
Donation of material from INEM
Today is a day of gratitude to the Portuguese INEM team who donated wonderful material for the care of our Timorese patients! Thanks to the Ambassador of Portugal, Dra. Manuela Bairos, who facilitated this sharing.
Consultations and help at the disability center
This afternoon we visited a family and went to do basic consultations at the disability center where we left a little help!
Consultations in Tunubibi
Today the consultations in Tunubibi exceeded a hundred patients who waited all morning for their turn to ask for help for their health! With us, Marisa Barroca and her companion Conceição brought basic goods and distributed them to the population.
Visit from the General Superior
Over the weekend we had the illustrious visit of the General Superior of the Congregation of the Hospitaller Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Sister Idilia Carneiro, to whom we thank for her visit and kindness.
Evaluation of the population of Suco Tapo, Memo
Today was an intense day of work and dedication to eye diseases, a team from the national hospital of Dili came to evaluate the population... 182 consultations and about 40 surgeries scheduled!
Health promotion and prevention in Memo
Today the day was full of possibilities for the population of Memo with general and specialty consultations and clinical monitoring of hypertension and diabetes, pregnancy stage evaluation, vaccination, and much health promotion and prevention.
Opening of the Multipurpose Patio
On this 18th of June, a festive day at the Social Center celebrating 10 years of service in cooperation with the MSSI. The opening of the Multipurpose Patio and the farewell of Her Excellency the Ambassador of Portugal, Dra. Manuela Bairos.
Child Nutrition Program
The signing of the agreement with the department of nutrition and food security happened today at the end of the morning in Dili! We formalized the nutrition program in Memo from our clinic for almost 150 beneficiaries.
Inauguration of the Professor Doctor Henrique Curado Laboratory
In 2025, the Professor Doctor Henrique Curado Laboratory was inaugurated, the first in the Memo region to complement the clinical services of the community.
